FRANKLIN INTRODUCES A SMART PHONE APPLICATION FOR LOCATING RADIOACTIVE LIGHTNING CONDUCTORS

Several months ago FRANKLIN France brought out an online application designed to list all of the radioactive lightning conductors

to be taken down and replaced.

The application has just been updated. It now allows a radioactive lightning conductor to be located using GPS, sending a message back to FRANKLIN including: a grid reference, a photograph and the make or model (if known). This will be an asset in planning for the mammoth task of taking down the 30 - 40,000 radioactive lightning conductors still on rooftops. This adds to our active support of the Inaparad website, which lists these lightning conductors:

A comparable application will soon be available from DUVAL MESSIEN.
